Avery Healthcare Group Announcement

The Avery Healthcare Group is delighted to announce the appointment of two experienced leaders to their executive team.

Lorna Rose has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Lorna has been a Managing Director with Barchester Healthcare for the last 7 years where she has been a member of the Executive Team and responsible for the operational leadership of 80 care homes. Prior to that she was a National Director for Bupa where she was for 18 years in various senior roles.

Lorna is a highly motivated healthcare leader with a passion for providing exceptional care.

Avery is also excited to announce that following 9 successful years with the organisation, Lisa Soper has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Lisa is a qualified social worker with over 35 years of experience in the health and social care sector.

As part of this restructure, John Strowbridge, one of the Founding Directors, will transition from Chief Executive Officer to the role of Executive Chairman. The move will enable John to continue to focus on Avery’s ambitious growth plans, both through developments as well as acquisition opportunities whilst continuing to support and direct the group.

John said, “I am very pleased to be welcoming Lorna to the senior leadership team. Our new appointments will lead an exceptionally strong team of people to support our organisation’s growth plan and move it on to its next phase. I believe we have an exciting future ahead of us and wish them every success in their new roles.”
