MacMillan Coffee Morning 2024 at The Hawthorns Clevedon: A Heartfelt Success!

On the 26th September, we proudly hosted our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning at The Hawthorns Clevedon, and once again, our community came together in support of an incredible cause. The event was a resounding success, thanks to the generosity of our wonderful residents, visitors, and staff, who shared in the joy of giving and indulged in delicious treats prepared by our talented Culinary Team.

A special thank you goes to Emma Pugh, Manager of Macmillan Cancer Support at Weston General Hospital, who kindly joined us for the occasion. It was an absolute pleasure catching up with her and hearing about the impactful work that she and her team continue to do for cancer patients and their families. Their dedication and compassion are truly inspiring.

Our Customer Service Manager, Aggie Jasinski, beautifully summed up the day: “What an amazing atmosphere! We are delighted with the incredible support for this fantastic charity. In just two hours, we managed to raise an impressive £277.09!”

The warmth and camaraderie shared at the event reminded us all of the power of community and how we can make a real difference by working together. We are so proud of the continued commitment shown by everyone at The Hawthorns Clevedon to support Macmillan Cancer Support year after year.
