The Hawthorns Goes Christmas ‘Card-less’ for Charity
Traditionally, The Hawthorns produce bespoke Christmas cards to send to relatives, professional contacts, and suppliers.
As many charities that offer vital services have suffered financial challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic this year, for 2020, we have instead opted to make a donation to The Silver Line, a free confidential telephone helpline offering information, friendship and advice to older people.
Chief Operating Officer, Sharon Winfield, said, “Without the kind donations they receive throughout the year, charities cannot continue to carry out their amazing work, supporting those in need in our local communities. We recognise that this year, they would benefit more from donations than ever”.
