The Hawthorns Northampton Sponsors Local Bowling Green

The Hawthorns retirement community in Northampton is pleased to sponsor the bowling green at the Whyte Melville Lawn Bowls Club at the Fernie Fields Sports Club in Moulton Northampton.

Both are first class facilities in their own right and the Hawthorns wanted to build a relationship with a sports club that reflected its own high standards and quality approach.

As can be seen from the photos the bowling green at Fernie Fields is in fine order for the 2019 season, and they welcome new players to come and try their hand every Tuesday afternoon.

Here at The Hawthorns Northampton, we have our very own indoor short mat bowling facility and residents can look forward to trips out in our own private coach to Fernie Fields this summer, and then welcome players back to our indoor short-mat bowling later in the year.
