Charity Fashion Show Needs Models

A charity Fashion show, in aid of Farleigh Hospice, will be taking place on April 20 at 7.30pm, hosted by Dave Monk, BBC Radio Essex Presenter, with clothes showcased from the Farleigh Hospice shops.

Both the venue, The Hawthorns Meadow Park, Braintree and the refreshments are being donated to the event by The Hawthorns and the search is now on for more models, particularly male models, and someone who can 'coach' our volunteer models in the ways of the catwalk.

Tickets are available at £5 from The Hawthorns. The ticket price includes light refreshments and there will be an opportunity to purchase the modelled outfits and nearly new clothes from the hospice shops on the night.

Sheila Gunson from Farleigh Hospice said: "We are looking to theme the clothes throughout the day, taking in casual wear, outdoor wear, formal and evening wear together with bed attire, something for all occasions and ages. All the clothes modelled have come from our shops and we are hoping that there are some people out there who will volunteer as models to help us on the night, especially you gentlemen, as well as a ‘model trainer’ to put them through their paces so they really look the part.

"We are grateful to The Hawthorns for allowing us to use their wonderful facility, it will make a super backdrop to the event".
