The Hawthorns Clevedon Celebrates 30 Years at the Heart of the Community

This year, the Hawthorns Clevedon marked a major milestone: 30 years of providing vibrant, person-centred retirement living in North Somerset.

The Hawthorns Clevedon has built strong and lasting links with the local community over the past three decades. From long-standing sponsorship of Clevedon Pier and Curzon Cinema, to supporting Clevedon Care and Clevedon Promenade Bowls Club, the home continues to champion local organisations and events. Representatives from these groups were invited to join the celebrations, with many expressing their gratitude and joy at being part of the occasion.

The home celebrated in style with a Las Vegas-themed party, live entertainment, and heartfelt tributes to residents, team members, and the local community. From elegant canapés and a prosecco reception to a three-course dinner and disco, the event was a joyful reflection of the home. Residents were treated to table magic by Callum Weaver, a show-stopping Elvis tribute by Barry Paul, and dancing into the night with Disco Steve.
