Over the past year, the Hawthorns Braintree residents, team members, families, and friends have come together to support the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, raising an incredible £1,307.54.
This fantastic total was achieved through a variety of fundraising activities, including donation boxes, raffles, and quizzes. Each event brought people together in the spirit of generosity, all in aid of a truly inspiring organisation dedicated to improving the quality of life for those affected by cancer.
The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity provides a wide range of complementary therapies such as reflexology and aromatherapy, alongside counselling and vital support for families and carers. Their mission, founded in memory of BBC broadcaster Helen Rollason, continues to make a profound difference through fundraising events and charity shops.
Earlier this month, General Managers at the Hawthorns Braintree, Paul and Sandra Tripney, had the pleasure of presenting the cheque to Rick Thompson, the charity’s Ambassador. Rick expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support, highlighting how every contribution helps sustain the charity’s vital work.
The team at the Hawthorns Braintree extend a sincere thank you to everyone who contributed. The kindness and generosity shared make a real difference and brings the community together for such an important cause.
