Harvest Festival at the Hawthorns Braintree

The Hawthorns Braintree have been proudly collecting food donations for the Braintree Area Foodbank in celebration of the Harvest Festival. This special time of year is all about giving thanks and sharing with others, and our residents and visitors have shown incredible kindness and generosity by contributing much-needed food items to support this very worthy charity.

We were also delighted to welcome representatives from Braintree Area Foodbank, who visited to give an inspiring talk about the work they do within the local community. The event was well-attended by both residents and visitors, who were eager to learn more about how the Foodbank provides not only emergency food but also practical support to individuals and families during some of their most challenging times.

The Braintree Area Foodbank’s mission extends beyond immediate help – they also work closely with local partners and community organisations to ensure that people can access the right support during their most challenging moments. Their compassion and commitment truly make a lasting difference in the lives of so many.

Here at the Hawthorns, we hope to maintain a strong connection with the Foodbank and explore ways to offer our support on a regular basis.
