The Hawthorns Clevedon was delighted to once again welcome residents, families, and the wider community to its annual Christmas bazaar. The event was a magical occasion, sparking festive spirit and bringing people together in celebration.
Guests enjoyed a variety of wonderful stalls, from gift shopping to delicious festive treats, including mince pies, homemade cookies, coffee, tea, and mulled wine. The atmosphere was filled with cheer, laughter, and the unmistakable warmth of the season.
The Christmas Bazaar Café raised an impressive £157.50 in donations, all of which will be donated to Weston Hospicecare, the home’s charity of the year. This achievement reflects the generosity of everyone who attended.
A special thank you goes to the stall holders, whose support made the day extra special, and to the talented members of the Hawthorns Clevedon knitting club, who showcased beautiful handmade items such as toys, scarves, hats, and blankets. They managed to raise an amazing £600, which is being distributed evenly to The Salvation Army UK, Guide Dogs UK and Royal National Lifeboat Institute.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the Weston Community Brass Band performed live music throughout the day, including Silent Night, bringing joy and a touch of magic to the celebrations.
The Hawthorns Clevedon extends heartfelt thanks to all who attended and helped make this year’s bazaar such a warm, festive, and memorable success.
