"For a nominal fee they can enjoy meals in the beautiful Hawthorns dining room which means they don’t always have to cook; ideal if you are just back from a holiday or weekend away".
Detailed below are all of the amenities at The Hawthorns Eastbourne which are available to residents of The Gardens and included in their monthly rental charge:
Ready to move in with fresh neutral decor with carpet and curtains provided. Beds, bed linen and towels can be provided but you can, of course bring your own, together with your own furniture to make your Bungalow or Maisonette your own.
All household bills (other than your personal contents insurance and your personal telephone bill) are included in your monthly fee.
Our professional onsite Management Team at The Hawthorns ensures help and support are always on hand when needed and provides security and peace of mind for you and your family, even when you are away on holiday.
Each bungalow and downstairs maisonette have their own private garden. There are also colourful landscaped gardens, accessible all year round, with seating areas, and paved walkways. Maintained by our team of gardeners who are also happy to give you a helping hand with your lawn if required.
The Hawthorns Activities Coordinator ensures there is always an interesting and varied choice of activities and social events for you to participate in, should you wish; from crafts and ‘sittercise’ to themed fairs and evening entertainment. Resident’s suggestions are always welcomed.
Residents at The Gardens can opt into the food service at The Hawthorns for a nominal sum. Invite your friends and family to join you at The Hawthorns for special occasions, or even just for Sunday Lunch, and enjoy the privacy of this elegant private dining room for special occasions.
For your convenience The Hawthorns has their own private mini coach which is used for trips into town, shopping trips, appointments and regular excursions.
Residents at The Gardens can also enjoy a varied menu of three freshly prepared meals each day, created by The Hawthorns chef and served in the light and spacious dining room. Special diets are catered for and there is always a choice of portion size as well as a choice of dishes. There is a nominal charge for this.
Your Bungalow or Maisonette will be surface cleaned weekly and your towels and bed linen provided by us, are changed and laundered weekly.
At The Hawthorns you can meet up with friends and like-minded neighbours in coffee lounge, where hot drinks and fresh home-baked snacks and fresh fruit are available throughout the day.
The Hawthorns has a snooker table, gym equipment and an abundance of board games and jigsaws where you can join friends for a fun afternoon.
Enjoy your favourite programmes, sporting events and films in the company of friends.
Take time out to catch up with the newspapers, or settle down with a good book in The Hawthorns comfortable, well-stocked library.

At The Hawthorns there is a guest suite available if required for visiting family and friends, this can bee booked by the managers if required.
There is a professional hair and beauty salon, conveniently located within The Hawthorns where you can book an appointment any time.
Residents of The Gardens have their own fully equipped modern kitchen but can at any time book into The Hawthorns for a delicious, freshly prepared meal created by the chef and his team. There is a nominal charge for this for residents at The Gardens.
