The Hawthorns is unique in the retirement property market offering a different and complete retirement lifestyle. Each of our three facilities provides a range of studio, 1 and 2 bedroom private apartments in a 5 star, hotel-style facility. The apartments are rented on a monthly lease – there is no need to invest any capital in purchasing them.
All the facilities boast a range of amenities including the dining room, where three delicious meals a day are served, the library; activities and games room; coffee lounge, hairdressing and beauty salon; TV lounge; laundry on every floor; private mini bus and beautifully landscaped gardens. And of course the security of the live-in management team and emergency and pull cord system.
Each resident has their own private apartment ready for their own furnishings and personal effects (we provide the carpets and curtains). All apartments have their own heating controls. There is a choice of menu for breakfast, lunch and supper every day; the weekly apartment cleaning service; bed linen and towels are supplied and laundered and the use of amenities in The Hawthorns are provided together with a calendar of events each month.
The monthly rental charge covers all the residents’ everyday living costs (including building insurance, maintenance, community charge, electricity, water etc), all meals and services are included. The only other bill residents need pay is their personal telephone bill/broadband provider and contents insurance. This is explained further on The Monthly Charge Explained page.
With everything taken care of you’ll have time to do the things you enjoy most and fill your days with pleasure and good company.
