About The Hawthorns
The first Hawthorns in the UK was built at Clevedon in Somerset in 1994, and the company's concept, based on the founding principles of respect, dignity and choice, proved equally successful in England as it had in the US.
A second, award-winning facility in Eastbourne was built in 1999 and having fine-tuned every aspect of this unique lifestyle to the UK, apartments at The Hawthorns Eastbourne are very much sought after and a second phase of retirement bungalows and maisonettes are now under construction.
The third and latest facility is the newly completed Hawthorns at Meadow Park which has all the attributes of the previous two facilities and show apartments and taster stays are available. Positioned between Braintree and Great Notley this beautiful new building has been voted Best Retirement Development in the recent Daily Mail Awards.
