The first Hawthorns in the UK was built at Clevedon in Somerset in 1994, and the company's concept, based on the founding principles of respect, dignity and choice, proved equally successful in England as it had in the US. A second, award-winning facility in Eastbourne was built in 1999 and having fine-tuned every aspect of this unique lifestyle to the UK, we are now searching for land to expand.
